This is a private reference site, not a Caldwell County government office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release a detainee, post bond, schedule visitation, or obtain official booking records for you. For those actions, use the official office that controls the record.

Official Places to Start

For jail custody, bond, and public-record questions, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department and the Caldwell County Detention Center are the local offices identified in the research.

  • For someone currently in the county jail, start with jail inmate records and then call the detention center if the roster is unclear.
  • For booking photos, use jail roster mugshots and the sheriff's written-record request process if the image is not online.
  • For formal charges after an arrest, check court records after a jail arrest through Missouri Case.net and the Circuit Clerk.
  • For facility-specific details, use the Caldwell County Detention Center page listed in the footer.
  • For a sentenced Missouri prisoner, search Missouri DOC Offender Search instead of the county roster.
  • For federal sentenced custody or immigration custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System.

Written Sunshine Law requests for sheriff records should go through the Caldwell County record-request form or the Custodian of Records. The sheriff's records guidance says the department responds within three business days after the request and applicable fees are received, though production can take longer.
